Democracy Has Prevailed.

From The Religious Fringe

One sign at a National Organization for Marriage rally in Indianapolis.

The thing is, the sign is right in one sense: Leviticus 20:13 does say that a man who "lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman" shall be put to death.

Says so right here. So let it be written so let it be done.

But did you know what Leviticus 20:10 says? It's only three verses sooner so it shouldn't be that hard to find. Here it is:
And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
So if we've established Leviticus as the law of the land, we should then be killing all adulterers, too.

All of them.

Consistency is everything and there are no exceptions with The Lord.

We could do that OR we can be civilized.

Let me get this straight (no pun intended). Apparently, you want the bar lowered so low that one (1) sign at a gathering taints the entire gathering. You must be; otherwise, you wouldn't have posted it. If not, then you should post pictures of anti-Kill/Assassinate Bush photos at leftist gatherings.

Can you say, without a doubt, that this sign, or any other particular sign, at a political gathering was from a supporter of the particular gathering? Or, would you acknowledge that this sign, or any other particular sign, at a political gathering *could* be a sign that is from an *opponent* of said gathering and is present solely or in any other manner intended to taint said political gathering?

Didn't think so.

You guys would be so much *fun* on a witness stand.

Please note I am NOT condoning this sign as I do not condone or agree with the signs/actions of anti-homosexual groups such as the Phelps group.

CM, can you document one instance where an *opponent* of an anti homosexual or Tea Party group has confessed to "infiltrating" that group with a hate-filled sign of the sort in the picture, intended to discredit that group? One case where a person says "I am a slimy liberal, and I wanted to make the noble anti-homosexual (or Tea Party) group look bad".

On the other hand, I have to agree with one thing you say. Some number of liberals/Democrats have carried some pretty nasty depictions of Bush-as-Hitler type signs at Democratic war protests in the past. I don't know what the number of people who did that was, I did watch a conservative-authored YouTube type clip that showed maybe eight. You would think they would want to find as many as they could.
